Arrived for lunch at 1.45 and they had finished serving. Haven't been for a while but seems that the standard if service hS dropped

What a great pub to stay at, nice bar & beer garden, food was great, friendly helpful staff & very comfortable room too, have paid a lot more for a lot worse

Last minute change to stay here on my LEJOG ride. Room was perfect, large enough for for my bike. Nice in-room bathroom and comfy bed. Highlight was the restaurant/bar, which was busy on Mother's Day, but staff was super friendly. My meal, the chorizo and shrimp pasta, was probably the best of my trip. I would absolutely recommend the hotel and a meal at the restaurant!

Hadn't been for a while but still as I remember and food was great. Been going on and off for 25 years plus and can honestly say I have never been disappointed, owners always make you feel welcome and staff excellent 👍

Wonderful food and superb service from great staff nothing was too much trouble, it was to be our final golf trip here but we will now return!👍👏👏

I dined at the Red Lion as part of a party of 20+ on Saturday evening. Excellent service. All our meals were served at the same time and without delay despite being a large group. The quality of the food was excellent too. Will definitely be dining there again.

Have been going here for years but due to covid had not been for at least 2 years. It was always good but I think they've stepped up again. The food we had was excellent and beautifully presented. It's more a fancy restaurant than pub grub. Staff wonderful too.

We went here for one of my friends retirement. The atmosphere was nice and the service great. As in vegan, I asked if there was an option for me. There was, and it was a lovely one. I had the vegetable tagine. It came with sweet potato and it was so nice. It was hot and filling. I would be happy to have that again.

A lovely restaurant. Visited with two of my children and we had a good time. The staff were attentive without being interfering.The food was very good although my daughter in law said that her naan was a little undercooked for her.
