·

Great pub and bartender down to earth good for a quite drink with friends.

·

Quiet, no one in except 3 regulars.

I only visited for an afternoon of jazz. However I helped my sister and brother-in-law run their own very successful pub for many years so I know what makes a good pub. The beer was good, my driver had an excellent cup of coffee (in fact she had 2). The service was excellent even when the place filled up. The landlord and landlady chatted to all the punters. They have a lovely garden at the back including a huge covered smoking area. They do a range of interesting sandwiches, though I didn't try one. If I lived nearer its a pub I would be happy to use on a regular basis. And for those who are particularly fussy - the toilets were very clean.

Spent a fabulous afternoon in the beer garden listening to a live New Orleans Jazz band . Great service , simple yet tasty food. Biker friendly too , safe car park for the bikes . Thanks for a wonderful afternoon !!

Small but friendly pub, location let's it down a bit but clean and tidy

·

Decent pub, friendly staff. Games room in the rear, lounge bar to the front. Reasonable prices.
