Great pint of San Miguel, been there today with John Bateman and scrag on our lambrettas.

Beautiful traditional country pub, great atmosphere. Stunning scenery. X Lovely people.

1st time in this pub. Found it to be friendly and welcoming. Beer was fine. No complaints

Nothing outstanding but cheaper meals that are tasty. Beers reasonable friendly staff. Room behind bar has bits stored and cupboards with wiring on show which could look better with this tidied up but hey ho.

Came here for my uncles surprise 60th birthday. Its a great little pub very well priced and staff are friendly. If we lived closer we'd certainly use it for our local.

Went here Friday night due to the good reviews. Didn't really think much to it as it felt run down and had very bright lighting which made it feel stark and uninviting. It was serving about 3 cask ales and had the wainwright beer. Unfortunately it had not been well looked after was cloudy and tasted awful. In fairness we should have returned it but didn't really like the feel of the place so left.Can't comment on the food as the kitchen was shut for refurbishment.

went to the oak at lunch time, very disappointed to say the least!! Three young people working there, very untidy staff and surroundings! Cheese cobs on bar but told they were stale, girl offered to do some more, decided against it after seeing male member of staff with his hand down back of trousers scratching!!!! Not to be repeated.

Nice traditional pub, open fire, and friendly staff. Very good food, nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.
