The Star Inn in South Staffordshire

I met up with some friends at The Star Inn for lunch. The food was lovely, top quality and good value. The atmosphere was very welcoming and calm. The staff were lovely too. It was the perfect venue for us will definitely be coming back.

Meals was delicious.starters.main with meat and veg was cooked to perfection and large yourshire was as big Plate. delicious 😋all my 40 guests had great things to say about meal.staff very friendly and happy to help.couldnt wish for a better place for our wedding reception.thankyou chef and staff at the star inn High recommend

Very helpful polite staff. Great uniform tee-shirts. Sunday lunch were huge portions. Beautiful outdoor smoking area.

Food very over priced for the quality of food you get. Portion size good. I think they charge the same as surrounding pubs the other food served in the nearby pubs serve excellent food and they are charging in line with them but their food unfortunately is no where near the same standard their food is just average. I would of paid around £6 to £8.00 for my meal not the £12.50 they are charging

Friendly and attentive staff and absolutely glorious meal. Excellent value for money too. I found the menu interesting with some "good old fashioned" dishes superbly cooked.

In a party of 9, we waited ages to be served, well past the appointed time, and only got service at the table then after I complained at the bar. My first choice for a meal wasn't available. Food quality when it finally arrived wasn't anything special. Overall, a rather disappointing evening at this pub.

Lovely hot cooked food.great quality.service a little slower than normal pubs,but well worth the wait,as its freshly cooked and hot,unlike a lot of other places.the staff and manager are very polite and welcoming.well worth a visit.will definitely be back again.
