Decent sized function room which was ideal for the party we were attending. Friendly, chatty staff and well kept beer. Recommended.

·

Amazing food and beer, very welcoming and friendly staff

Proper English village pub, homely food, friendly, good for kids, dogs, a drink or a bite to eat. Great outdoors play area, pool table. Cheap for what you get. Really good size portions and meal of the day offers.

Pub has improved a lot in last few years with new landlord who’s put plenty of work into it. Has the best beer garden in the village with a great playground area the kids love. Good standard pub food and selection of beers with friendly staff make it a good pub to visit on a hot day.

·

Food was nice, good portions so real value for money. Good choice of beers. The pictures of the main dining room make it look very cosy but it is in fact a bit plain. But tve food and beer make up for that .

·

Friendly local serving great food with proper home cooked chips at bargain prices, a good range of beers, thoroughly recommended!

·

Nice small pub. Food was very nice imo. Price's are fair as well. Shame no pool table at the moment.

Looked nice from the road, but was a little run down inside, it looks like somewhere that is in the process of being improved. The menu and prices were okay though not a huge choice. The place has potential to be great, but isn't yet.The young staff were all lovely and very helpful.

First visit, sat in the large outside area and had drinks and food, good service, friendly staff, fair price for food and drink. Food good quality, cooked and presented well, definitely visit there again soon.

The new owner (who is lovely) has made such a difference to this place. Food is really tasty & plentiful - can't beat the homemade chips. Had a steak the other night & was cooked perfectly. Even better it was all half price with the new government scheme. There is plenty of hand sanitiser & you feel safe in the current environment. There is a lovely big beer garden which has a play area for the kids. Only downside is service is a bit slow when seated outside but other than that it's fab! Sunday lunch is fantastic & plentiful, would highly recommend.
