5 stars on looks alone.Did not use The Vine was out walking with my camera on the canal and it was early on a morning if the pub was open then yes I'd have gone in for a drink. The Vine looks lovely located on the side of the Staffordshire & Worcester Canal at Kinver big car park and one of the biggest beer gardens I've seen, so when the warm weather rolls in it's a place to try out.

Service was very slow despite booking. Staff got the order wrong and could not tell what they were serving so I ended up with lamb instead of beef. Baileys cheesecake was tasteless. Generally disappointing.

A group of seven of us met up for lunch here on a Saturday. It was uncannily quiet so my revue is based upon an off peak experience. It was just perfect in all respects. The staff are welcoming and amiable, the kitchen produces excellent meals, and the general ambience is delightful. Nothing to niggle about at all. Thank you everyone. Recommended.

The food was beautiful and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Absolutely outstanding. Called in as a last minute meal tonight with only an hour left on service. The Girls where smiley faced and super attentive. Food was really really good and the price was even better. Will absolutely be back. Thankyou The Vine

Amazing food, all home made and under £50 for 2 for 3 courses. My favourite place for Sunday dinner. I would highly recommend trying the food here and the staff are so friendly and on point. Great place!

It's not as bad as the reviews I read before going in said.. I still went in as it's conveniently located near the canal where my boat was parked.Someone was on the bar near the entrance door and we were served straight away. She suggested the special of the day to eat, steak pie, and poured us 2 pints. We sat down and the drinks were placed on a tab.The food order was taken shortly after and arrived really quickly, a bit too quickly for my liking which can only mean microwave 'cooking'. My lasagna was hot around the edges and warm (enough) in the centre which confirmed my suspicion. The pie was nice, apparently, but it could have all been nicer if an oven had been used. One more point which let the place down, the lines need cleaning.. there's no mistaking that tinny taste on Carling when there's a lack of attention to the taps. You could be better.. with very little extra effort.. something disfunctional is holding you back.

Lovely pub with a lot of home made food, log fire kept us warm. The Canal was lovely to see too 😍

Really pleasant and efficient staff. If the weather is good then sitting outside eating, drinking and watching the boats going through the nearby lock is very pleasant. Plenty of room inside to social distance if the weather is not so good. Food and choice of beers is good.

Highly reccommend The Vine, there must be around 50 tables in the garden so plenty of space for everyone. It's sheltered from the wind so it was scorching when the clouds passed! The food is very reasonably priced and super tasty. The staff were friendly and everything was covid-compliant. The car park is quite small but you can park on the road just down from the pub so it's not a problem. Will definitely be coming back here again!
