Its the first time I have been to this place but it certainly won't be the last. The premises were pleasant as were the staff, prices very reasonable and the meals myself and my wife had were well presented, substantial and served quickly after ordering.If I was being really picky I found the background music a little loud for my tastes but its hardly worth mentioning. A superb experience which we shall be repeating.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful, bright and cheery and went out of their way to make sure that we received the best service possible. The food was also absolutely delicious. A little treasure tucked out of the way! I will certainly return.

Not been before so I was pleasantly surprised! Lovely place and a choice of 2 menus! 1 traditional and 1 Asian. Opted for a slow braised lamb shank which was beautiful! Will definitely visit again ☺

Excellent Traditional Pub Restaurant and Guesthouse. Nicely decorated in a modern manner. Excellent Menu. Friendly Professional Staff. Great Food. Very enjoyable. We are local and will definitely will be returning soon. Great location for anyone travelling along the M6. Only two minutes off Junction 11. Good parking. Outdoor seating and enclosed play area for children, weather permitting.

Fantastic location for North or South bound travellers. Right off the M6, easy parking, fast service, very friendly and attentive staff, comprehensive menu, what's not to like? As an aside, the chips have set the bar at a very high level, best I've had for a long, long, time. The Wheatsheaf offers overnight parking for Motor Homes, along with water and EHU if required. Fully recommended.
