Aston Marina in Stafford

Lovely surroundings, very friendly staff and good selection of food. I enjoyed walking around the marina too. Helped that it was a sunny day but they also have glass geodesic domes if you want to eat outside when it's raining. Recommend spending a couple of hours there with the family.

Popped into the very popular Aston Marina for a cheeky lunch and a beer. A very popular place locally that had a wedding when we arrived, we opted to sit in the restaurant and had a burger and shredded lamb. (Be warned the shredded lamb is more like a pizza, a very nice pizza though!)Plenty of outdoor seating and you can relax watching the boaters go about their business.A little expensive for lunch but given the setting well worth that small premium. Great service even though the chap was new.A go to place in the Stone area.

Wow 👌 were we impressed just had a delicious birthday meal. The menu choice was excellent and all the food choices lived up to our expectation. BUT if I could praise the waiting on staff and the way we were greeted it was these guys who made the whole experience so memorable. Plus hey the greeting on the birthday plate was second to none and so unexpected. Well done team you must feel very proud. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Great Venu, 5 of us went for a meal and a Beatle's tribute band. Great parking, a welcome drink at reception, seating and space excellent. The staff were excellent and attentive, bar well stocked. The food and presentation were first class, staff very efficient at serving and removal of all dishes of three course meal. The Beatles Tribute Band, put on a great show, dance floor a nice size for those wishing to participate. We enjoyed it that much we are planning on booking for Christmas and New Year. Just been to the Hideaway Restaurant at Aston Marina for afternoon tea. I can only say that if you have the chance to go there, grab it with both hands. It was fantastic. Food exquisite and plentiful. Staff very attentive. Singer was excellent. Lovely.

Great dining experience with live music!Thursday's are the best nights to go .Wonderful food with great service . Waiting staff have time to speak to you .Good distance between tables staff wearing masks and a temperature check on arrival.

Wow. What a great place for THE wedding of the year - having been Covid cancelled Twice (!) before. The Boat House venue and staff made us all feel so welcome and the layout, facilities and atmosphere were fantastic ... even the weather was great. Such joy after months and months of being unable to see friends and family. Although this was a personal experience (our eldest son'swedding), the question is would I recommend this place? ABSOLUTELY 😊👍
