Baswich Fish And Chip Shop in Stafford

This is the best fish and chips you can buy. Staff are really pleasant and always smiling and polite. The shop is spotless hygiene is excellent. We travel from near Lichfield and enjoy our fish specials at Milford common all the year round.Well worth the 24 mile round trip.John and the staff deserve your custom.

Best chippy in the area, always reccomend. Can be a long wait time on busy nights but if so they're usually preparing large orders, which is nice to see them so busy!

Always lovely and fresh fish and chips with excellent service .have visited on many occasions.would highly recommend weeping cross fish bar .

Just the best fish and chips you can buy. Love them 👍

Excellent delicious cod and perfect chips. Shop and counter surgically clean and served by a group of delightfully cheerful girls.

Amazing food, but be prepared to wait behind family sized orders… even if you’ve just ordered a cone of chips you can be outside waiting for 20 mins on busy evenings. Not a place to nip to as a deliver driver on a 20 min break.

Really sad this chip shop has nice food. But all of a sudden stopped discount for serving and ex serving forces. They were happy to take armed services custom when things were not so good and it was good publicity. Now out the blue thanks but no thanks. Msg to owner u clearly have have no idea what it is like to serve.you are not fit to walk in the shoes of those who do. Discount and words are very cheap especially if it is towards yr buisness . Armed forces beware of a charleton

We love the food from this place. Its always on point and we have never had any issues. The staff are very friendly and always polite, very refreshing to see. They have an effective covid strategy in place with screens and allowing people to wait outside for orders. We use this place regular after moving to stafford. They have gluten free Sunday and Monday so handy for those that need it.They only take cash, this is no issue as a cash point is located over the road.Great place over all.Five stars 🌟

Collected pre order from them on Saturday. Staff were doing a fantastic job at a very busy time. Very apologetic about the delay in placing orders & waiting for the food. Great idea to wait outside, with covid still around. Fish & chips were lovely as usual. Well done, will recommend Weeping Cross to anyone. Certainly a gold star to the staff for customer service.

Absolutely awesome, the wife is celiac and we went here and the gluten free fish and chips were banging. The normal food was awesome too. Highly recommended. Picture is of gluten free!!!
