Butts Green Garden Centre & Cafe in Stafford

Perfect way to start a bank holiday. Avocado breakfast was amazing. Staff friendly, atmosphere is very calm and chilled. Definitely will be back.

First visit here and most definitely won't be my last ! Think it'll be a regular haunt to take friends. Had toasted brie and bacon with loads of filling, tasty bread and really nicely presented. Great find and looking forward to a return visit.

Great selection of options on their menu - not a fan of food behind served on a slice of rustic timber instead of a proper plate..... But I guess it is the style of the moment🤷My ploughman's had massive chunks of cheese, could have done with a bit more salad. Service was good, and the table did not wobble 😱

Lovely cosy setting. Dog friendly. Warm fireplace. Tasty food. Outside enclosed seating area as well with more space if required.

Excellent Afternoon Tea, we had to pre book, good value, lovely sandwiches, scones and cakes and free tea and coffee too up. Lovely garden centre with good selection of Christmas decorations

Plenty of seating outside and undercover with a good selection of different food on the menu, ranging from the all day breakfast to toasties, eggs Benedict and salads. Also fresh cakes cakes are on the menu along with a good selection of drinks. There is also a selection of out door pots and plants with outside ornaments. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Recommended for anyone wanting a nice lunch with a good outside atmosphere.

We visited the garden center, having been to 4 other garden centers in the area, and were very disappointed. Their display area was pretty much empty and unloved with only dead plants remaining. The small covered area they have was also empty apart from a completely out-of-place fireplace display at the end. I don't think we spent more than 5 minutes here. Wintertime is not an excuse for an empty garden center as all of the other places we visited that day had a good selection of plants. We won't be returning in a hurry, to say the least!

Sandon Garden Centre is now permanently closed. From February 2014 the garden centre and cafe it is under new ownership and is trading as Butts Green Garden Centre and cafe ltd. (Posted by the Manager)
