Fantastic place for lovely home cooked food

Absolutely wonderful Sunday dinner,staff so helpful and welcoming, would recommend and will go again.

Went on the off chance for lunch were lucky got a table most tables were reserved. Sat in conservatory lovely view over lakes. I had the chicken and peppers special which came with lovely mash and veg, lots of chicken. Mum had lasagne which came with chips and salad, she enjoyed it. Will go back.

Don’t bother stopping here if you’re a cyclist as you are not welcome! After asking for coffee and cake in the garden we were very rudely told we had to leave our two £7,000 bikes in the car park where we couldn’t see them as they weren’t allowed in the garden!

Excellent cafe food with a great food, cozy with the fire going and very friendly staff. I will definitely be visiting again. Note that you currently need to book in advance due to high demand.

You know it’s going to be good when all the tables are reserved. We visited on a Saturday Morning, thankfully we pre-booked as all the tables seem to have been reserved which is always a good sign. We sat in the orangery with amazing views over open countryside and the fishing lake. I had the large breakfast but despite my desire to finish all of it I was beaten because there was loads of food, it was amazing so much so we are going to see if we can get in again today. Staff are excellently friendly, so putting the experience as a whole we can highly recommend this place.

A gem of a cafe, just off the main road. You do wonder where you are going as it is accessed via a cinder track through a campsite. They have a good selection of sandwiches, toasties, backed potatoes and cakes at reasonable prices. The main eating area is in a large conservatory which has nice looks the fishing lakes and fields. Overall recommended!

Really nice sandwiches and decent drinks. Have had nice meal and breakfast earlier in the year. Friendly staff and nice location. Have to pre book at the moment
