The place was empty when we popped in for a late lunch carvery. Despite this there were plenty of fresh veg and meat available and the food was delicious as usual. I especially love that the stuffing is also self service rather than just being given one small piece on your plate with your meat.

We visited here whilst on our recent canal boat holiday. We were a party of 7 adults and decided to try the carvery. It was very hot and plenty of different veg choices. Our party was so pleased with the food that not only did they insist we stay the night and go for all you can eat breakfast the following morning but they insisted on stopping there for another carvery on our way home.

Great service. Our server lauren was friendly and so helpful with the kids. Me and my husband had burgers and the little ones choice pizzas and I must say both were absolutely huge and delicious. Will definitely be returning

Micha and the team are always welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Food is always cooked fresh and generous portions. Carvery and pizzas are really tasty and good value for money

My wife and I were met with an older scruffy looking lady who was smoking right next to the entrance. The smell was not what you want when going to eat lunch. This lady turned out to be a very loud person who worked there! We ordered food then was asked to sit at our table and an employee would let us know when we could go up to the carvery. My wife ordered a nut roast as she has food intolerances and wasn't able to just eat from the carvery. After finishing our drinks from the dirty glasses they were served in, we realised that over 20 minutes had passed. We chased the order to find it was never sent to the kitchen. We went and chose food that we could have from the carvery but this was incredibly dry and quite cold. It most certainly wasn't fresh! We asked about the nut roast, which was over 40 minutes late, and still not ready. They offered to refund the nut roast but the entire meal was ruined. My wife had poor quality veg and potatoes. Also, I was asked to present a card, but I paid with my phone. I just wanted to leave at this point. We ended up leaving and feeling rather underwhelmed by the experience. We will not be returning.

Nice and tasty food. Been there on a foggy evening, so can't talk about the location around. Nice staff. Food was served quickly. I was helped with a takeaway box with my excess food.

We have gone to the Radford Bank many times before, but this trip will most certainly be out last.Where to start.... The service was extremely slow throughout our experience, it took over 45 minutes for both mine and my three year old daughter's food to arrive and when it did it was not worth the wait at all. The BBQ chicken and bacon burger came without any BBQ sauce on it and I've seen more cheese on a vegan's cheese board than on my burger. Then my daughter's pasta was a bowl of watery tomato sauce with the odd piece of pasta in it. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. This type of wait for a three year old is just not good enough. We asked one of the staff how long the meals would be and it felt like we had asked for the earth, she was not helpful and told us two minutes but that turned in another fifteen minutes. I had to wait in a queue of just three people for over twenty minutes to get just two drinks of water! That type of service just typifies the experience. During this time the manager was turning away customers who hadn't pre booked however we hadn't pre booked and were told this was not a problem. My partner had the carvery, so waiting for this wasn't an issue however the food she had just eaten not 5 minutes ago was then taken off the carvery serving line as "it was not to their standards" yet 5 minutes ago it was fine for my partner to eat! Both myself and my partner felt embarrassed that we had taken our daughter out for a meal and this was the standard we had received. What a shame! 1 start is too many in this instance. The Radford Bank has let it's self down tonight and I'm sure this won't be the only negative review they have based on tonight's service.

Helped with my daughters stall at the Christmas Market and the staff were lovely. The place was clean and not too busy. Had a drink and ordered a pizza. Drink wasn't too expensive. Pizza was fantastic. Would definitely recommend

Went for evening meal on Christmas Eve. A little disappointed with carvery. Four people in our party. One had a burger, another had a pizza and 2 of us had the carvery. The carvery was disappointing. Meat was fine but vegetables were not nice. A member of our party did speak with female member of Staff to say not pleased. First time we have had this at The Radford, usually enjoy the carvery. Shame.
