Not very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered a selection of baguettes for 6 of us and still took over 1/2 hrs to arrive. Seemed more interested in the locals than us poor passing traffic. Only stopped as it looked an attractive spot. Food was good when it arrived but won't stop again as didn't feel we were welcomed

We stopped in for food. Place wasn't busy at all but took over an hour for our food order to be made. We all had sandwiches. We saw 2 people order after us get their burgers before us. For how long we waited the food was just OK.

Shame we turned up to have a lunch, place opens up at midday, got there at 12.15 ordered drinks to then find out the person who does food has only just arrived and wouldn't be switching ovens on until at least 1 o'clock. Needless to say we had our drinks and left.

Great pub and foods reasonably priced made a quick stop off and was very pleased will be returning 😀

1 star and that's being generous!!!!Myself and hubby nipped out for a sneaky tea while the kids were out!!! No other dining customers in the pub, ordered and food arrived.. mine looked like it had been microwaved to a inch of its life yet cold inside, sent it back and when it came back it was microwaved even more which left it all chewy 🤢 had to ask for a bar mat for under the table... was advised to use as many beer mats as we needed to prop the table up..😂😂😂 was a experience to remember...pleasant front of house staff and very polite...

Lovely food, lovely ambience, friendly clean and delicious food. Most enjoyable would recommend for a nice meal after walking round a busy Trentham Gardens easy parking and great service

Fabulous place. Fabulous food. Great atmosphere.New management took over September 2021 so changes are a foot. Food is on everyday now. Ales are to die for. Bob the landlord has a fab team behind him now. Look forward to what 2022 brings.

The food was amazing very big portions everything was cooked perfect. The prices were not expensive for the amount of food on the plate. The service was amazing very friendly to everyone. The decor was really nice, gave a proper country pub feel to it. The toilets were very clean. Me and my partner will definitely be going back there again. Could not fault anything, definitely worth a visit. 5*++++++ all that food for £23 😁

Made a stop off here after visiting the Monkey Forest. Pleasantly surprised, it was quiet due to the time of day, clean, drinks can be a bit more on the pricey side (Guiness was 4.30), but can be overlooked when you order food. Came out hot, and prompt. If up this way again, will more than likely stop off here again. Friendly staff too!
