Hill Top Cottage in Stafford

It's OK, but could do with a revamp

As a Chinese person I definitely recommend this place! Really nice food even though its a takeaway. However, it is cash-only which is slightly disappointing.

My boyfriend recommended me to try it and hands down some of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had

We have been using Hilltop Cottage for years on and off but a few years ago they vastly improved the quality of the meat they use and we haven't been anywhere else since!Always polite and friendly and aside from the occasional busy time always speedy service. The only down side is that they only take cash which feels a bit weird in these Covid times.

Been getting Chinese takeaways from here since it opened in 2002. Always had great quality food at reasonable prices. Polite and friendly staff and quick delivery :)

Really nice takeaway! We had our new years eve tea from here! Be aware though it is cash only

Lovely food, generous portions. Ordered far too much, had to reheat next day. The spare ribs in Black Bean sauce were particularly good. Would pick more varied meals next time as although the ingredients in the dishes were all different the sauces were a bit 'samey'.Ordered when the shop opened and it was delivered to door less than 20 mins later, piping hot.

My go-to Chinese takeaway. Never had to wait more then half an hour to collect and it's always been ready waiting for me. Food I find is consistently good and at the price you'd expect.

Food was tasty but they don't deliver and it's cash only. Found part of our order was missing when we got home.Friends order from here and rate it highly.

A good Chinese take away, in a great location. Yes, the food is occasionally quite salty, as the reviewer below has stated, but the chefs are otherwise very consistent.
