La Cocina in Stafford

We visited last night and the food was lovely, however the service let it down, the staff are great but there is not enough of them, we had to literally nag the waiting on staff for another drink after our 1st on arrival, we were not offered a desert menu and had to chase for the bill twice sat with dirty plates on our table that weren't cleared. Otherwise we will return but will be prepared to go thirsty!

We really enjoyed our evening here. We went quite early so it was pretty quiet but filled up later. The food was lovely & the service great. We'll definitely pay another visit.

Food is fine, if a little overpriced, service terrible. 90 minute wait for main course (with starter in that time), considering it's Italian food that's pretty awful. Some people were waiting over an hour for pizza!Not enough staff, and when they started getting behind, the servers would actively avoid your eye contact so we weren't even able to get drinks while we waited. There were no updates or apologies about the delay, until we complained. We would have left but by that point it was too late to go anywhere else so we ended up eating at ~9.15pm (7.30pm reservation).Another thing to note is it's an open kitchen so when things get a bit smoky, you'll come away with your hair and clothes reeking. Go to Viviere or Zizzi's instead.

Absolutely amazing service from staff here. We went early evening (6pm) and was a lovely time as quiet enough to enjoy conversation across the table, without being too loud with other diners.Staff were very attentive.Great menu choices.Very reasonable prices.Food was DELICIOUS!Will definitely recommend and be back!

We had a great meal here at lunchtime today. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. We had salmon beautifully cooked in a lemon, white wine and dill sauce, with chunky chips. For dessert was delicious tiramisu and cheesecake. Very good value for money. We will be back soon.

The first time we have visited despite living in Stafford a while now and what a little gem - gutted not to have discovered it before. Staff - brilliant. Food - delicious. Setting - lovely. Not one complaint - I asked for help in choosing both my starter and mains and received an honest opinion even though one I’m sure was the cheaper option. Can’t fault it - will be back soon for another visit. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Second time i’ve been here now, and again we weren’t disappointed. The food was great and the staff were lovely, really enjoyed our meals and the cocktails were amazing. Had 3 courses each and for the price we payed as well, would happily come here time and time again. Thank you x

The food was amazing and couldn't fault the food but the service was terrible. Clearly not enough staff on the floor , only had one drink in the 2 hours there . Very long waits between courses with dirty plates still on the table even when the next course brought out ! Wanted to celebrate but ended up doing that else where ? Really Really disappointed

What a wonderful hidden gem in Stafford!The restaurant is really clean and nicely decorated, it has a nice atmosphere.The staff are lovely.Most importantly, the food. It's amazing! Couldn't fault it at all. It's freshly cooked in an open kitchen and tastes divine.I fully recommend La Casa, please go and check it out, you won't regret it.

Great food but the wait for food on a Monday night with barely any other customers isn't a way to run a restaurant and the seared King Scallops were tiny not worth £7.90 we was charged!
