Went here for lunch and the food didn't disappoint. Staff were helpful and friendly. The food was freshly cooked and presented well. Everything tasted as good as it looked. Definitely going here again 😊

I have mixed feelings about this place. Previous visits have been good but last visit (a week ago) the food was terrible. We had to send two of the meals back, one of them was clearly inedible before we even started. The replacement meals were also poor being undercooked. The service was very slow taking an hour and three-quarters to get the main meals which were poor. Most of the staff were pleasant though. Would get a one star review on last visit but I hope this was a one off.

The waitress was lovely .kids jacket potato you could taste was reheated but the baby still enjoyed it. The Macaroni cheese was delicious but unfortunately the burger tasted off to me the meat had been aged but not in a good way . I only had one bite and told the manager but still had to pay for it.

Very nice room. Lovely surroundings, and the staff where mire than helpful and available to answer any questions. A few things in the room require some attention. The breakfast was delicious 😋

Went for brunch on a Sunday morning. Restaurant was really busy so definitely need to book. Service was a bit slow to bring drinks, and the food was about 30 mons after ordering. Food was generally OK, oatcakes were a bit overcooked and dry, eggs royale had a decent serving of smoked salmon. Reasonably priced and a nice atmosphere though.

We went on a Wednesday evening for the grill night.... the menu states x2 two course meals and a bottle of wine for £35. My partner and myself don't drink wine and were told we could leave the lid on and bring away with us ... however once the bill came we were charged £8 for a bottle of wine!.. after the waitress spoke to management the wine was taken away and deducted from bill.. so no wine but still had to pay the full £35 for the meal!Apart from that lovely homily surroundings and very clean.Waitresses were very polite and friendly...food was good but nothing special...I've had better pub grub at a better price!Wouldn't rush back for another meal.

Food pricey vs quality. Ate there on a Sunday and the turkey roast was dry. Not worthy of the £16 price tag. We ordered drinks before the main and they didn't some until we had nearly finished our main. The dessert looked very shop bought and like a 50p steamed pudding from the supermarket. £7 charged. On a plus note the setting is lovely

Lovely food, staff are friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Great for dogs, our fur baby loved the yappy meal and the staff giving her treats and pork crackling 😊 The alpacas and the view are an added bonus from the beer garden in the summer. 5*

Fantastic staff, fantastic food & fantastic service everytime we book here we are never let down. The building has a lot of charm it's also an ideal setting for weddings and events for that little bit extra on your special day.A great dining experience without a doubt.

Had such a lovely time here. Firstly we stayed at the venue due to attending a wedding very nearby. The food was delicious, generous portions, well presented and cooked. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. We really felt they got to know us.I can highly recommend vegetarian dishes here, very tasty. The venue decor is comfortable and classy, a beautiful view onto the back fields from the dining area. The room we stayed in was again tasteful and comfortable. The toiletries were of a good quality and the tea/coffee station was beautifully presented.I'd definitely stay and eat here again
