Great Pub, great drink options and quality food

Lovely chicken roast and the brisket was lush I'm told as well

Lovely friendly staff, good service and great atmosphere. Went for Sunday lunch which was very good for meat eaters but not for vegetarians. Only one other choice available which was not very appetising when it came and could not eat it so disappointed. Poor menu if you are vegetarian.

Friendly service! Could've done with 1 more staff member on (went on Sunday) but all in all very nice food (Beef Sunday roast). Not sure if dogs are allowed, I don't think they are 👍

Can feel small if there's a quiz night on but the food is amazing.

Eaten here a number of times recently. All serious locally prepared food. Beer selection excellent. Service friendly and attentive. Warm and friendly atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, service and food! Felt like part of a family and it was my first time there. Will definitely be coming back :)

Very friendly proper pub with cask ales, also a dog friendly. Parking is a bit tight, but the street is a dead end so street parking is available (free)
