Tesco Cafe in Stafford

Good breakfast for the money, great coffee and excellent service.

A regular user of the cafe for lunch. Today a total farce. Ordered coffee and smoked salmon with egg. 6 customers in. Drank coffee, waited 30 mins. Waitress chatting to friends, no one on the counter. I left no one noticed. Shall not bother again.

Just bad. I had breakfast but it was bad. Took 30 mins to arrive and when it did it was terrible. Staff very friendly. Coffee was nice. Not a brilliant experience.

It is now open again. The food is as good as any expensive restaurant. Very good actually. I am surprised how good it is. Also the staff are very friendly.

Vast improvement of late. Service good and with a smile, very helpful staff and good food quickly served. Said I wouldn't use again after bad service some time ago but things have definatly improved. Well done

Standard greasy spoon cafe, prices are similar to wetherspoons but the quality isn't quite there. I would eat here again as there is ample seating and it's not particularly busy in the week.

Clean, spacious, nice place to chill. Not keen on the coffee at all. Toasted tea cake was very chewy/dry. Lovely polite staff..

To be honest when we went there was a couple of sandwiches and no hot food, 1 staff member struggling on his own with machine leaking and other jobs to do, felt sorry for him! Cutlery was all dirty. But I think it was just a bad day. Could be better now.

We waited over nearly 30 minutes for a baked potato with cheesy beans and fish an chips.... my baked potato had been put out for me 4 times, the fish and chips weren't done. They cooked my potato in the microwave 4 times by the time I got it.... it was horrible the beans were dry and cooked to death the cheese didn't taste fresh, potato hard microwaved too much, the salad was wilted. Told the guy at the till ... it was disgusting he did ask me if I wanted to come back.. I said NEVER AGAIN. Needs a new cook or retrain her she was diabolical.
