The Bank House Inn in Stafford

We had a lovely meal at the Bank House this Thursday evening. Although busy they managed to fit us in (we had not booked). The crispy pork belly bites to start were simply beautiful wish they did them as a main! Main courses really stunning quality and big portions. Super friendly and helpful staff. Will be back.

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.. firstly as I entered the pub I was greeted with a wet dog sitting at the doormat which isn’t a very good sign when your looking to enjoy a night out.. after this I was in shock when I saw the prices of the food, it tasted good but some of the dishes were expensive and also took a long time to bring to us. After this we asked the waiter for extra drinks which didn’t appear for 25 minutes yet we saw a group of staff standing round having a chat at the bar. I didn’t enjoy my night out and the landlady wasn’t particularly friendly but happy to take our money. If I could give the bank house 1 tip it would be to be more friendly…

As usual, a delicious meal with hearty portion sizes. Definitely full after a great quality meal at a super price. Service was lovely too. Very polite and accommodating 😊

One of the best meals we have had in along time. The staff were very attentive and polite. We really enjoyed the meal and we will certainly visit again. Would thoroughly. recommend

Sunday dinner was so tasty.. attention to detail was fantastic.. the staff are very attentive and approachable and nothing to much trouble. The chef is excellent and we highly recommend this restaurant.. 5****

We have just moved to Hixon so this was our first experience of the Bank House. We had heard good things and booked last minute for 7pm. The pub/restaurant is really quirky with low beams and a traditional feel. Everyone was extremely friendly including the customers when we arrived. We were shown our table and served very quickly. There was always someone around to ask for more drinks so you didn’t have to wait. Our food arrived and it was great. There is a good menu for adults and a selection of suitable dishes for kids.For three of us I think our bill came to around £81 which included a few jack Daniel’s and cokes.Overall great value, quality food and excellent customer service.

Our local pub and that we absolutely love for casual drinks or an evening meal, we are slowly making our way through the menu! The ribs and the pie is a firm favourite 😁The staff are excellent and the atmosphere cosy!

Absolutely lovely food, I had salmon linguine- it was divine. staff are so helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend.
