Pleasant pub, interesting decor, and perfect location if using the canal. Staff are friendly and it's definitely a home run independent. Good selection of drinks, and food on Sunday went down really well with most of the party (of 6). Very generous portions and excellent value for money for a Sunday dinner.

Canalside pub offering views of the canal with plenty of outside seating and a marque if it gets cold.Basket meals were well worth the money and the local beer went down a treat in the sunshine.Add in friendly, quick and helpful staff and it made for a very pleasant evening.

What a great traditional pub and even though we didn't try their food, the food being served looked delicious...definitely next time we chug along on the canal here again, we will have a meal for sure!This was a pit stop whilst on our canal boat but the ales and wine we enjoyed with our family who came and met us at this canal side pub were perfect. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Daughter booked table for my birthday dinner after been on a canal boat. Food was amazing and very tasty.. Staff were very nice and good and made us feel welcome and kids basket meal were amazing value for money...!!! I had tbone steak wow it was very nice and well presented.

Great village pub. Friendly staff. Seating indoor & outside by the canal. Lovely main meals & deserts.
