The George Inn Cafe in Stafford

Beautiful bedroom and bathroom, very tastefully decorated. Tea mugs were a decent size (larger than what is normally supplied elsewhere), real milk in the fridge. As we stayed on Easter Sunday 2 large Easter eggs had been left in our room. Excellent full breakfast with lighter options. As much tea and coffee as you like. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Nothing seemed too much for them to handle.

Good selection of good quality drinks. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the decor was lovely. The visit was only let down by the slow service despite it being quiet. At one point, I was also ignored by the bartender in his eagerness to serve a local over my shoulder who had just walked in. Despite this, I would still visit again.

I have stayed here a few times, staff are extremely friendly and offer great service. The rooms are large and very comfortable, always very well presented. Bathrooms are very nicely finished and the rooms are very good quality. I highly recommend and look forward to staying again soon.

A very enjoyable overnight stay in Clooney room. Very clean, beautiful en suite, comfy bed and lots of nice touches in the decor and Eccleshall mugs for tea and coffee. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Superb. Cheery, friendly reception, excellent food in v pleasant and comfortable surroundings. Will return. Great location just off M6.

This is actually a really nice place. What spoiled it was that people are allowed to vape in the outside seating area. On the occasion we visited, during a cold evening, the amount of people vaping just resulted in us being clouded in their vapour. It was awful. We just left. Such a shame.

Oh dear. Popped in for a hot drink and lunch when passing through. They had run out of brunch foods and there was a 45 minute wait anyway. We took our tea,which was rather weak ,to a window seat where we gazed over at Flour and Co and realised we had made a wrong choice

Small choice of beers. Rip off pricing! I found the Royal Oak in Eccleshall was more appealing for both choice and price

My husband and I decided to try this place today and saw the pods and thats where we sat and had the meal. Love the Pods and more the lovely,positive attitude of the workers. So hard to find a place these days with friendly staff. Glad we found this place and we will be back for sure.

Had a lovely lunch outside sat in one of their pods. Staff friendly and obliging. Good menu choice, we both went for a salad and both thoroughly enjoyed. I had the house lager which was refreshing. Prices good.
