The Greyhound at Yarlet in Stafford

Had a birthday meal with family at the greyhound last night, the beer and the food absolutely spectacular no problems.The staff all very polite, friendly and helpful.Looking forward to the next visit!Highly recommended.

What an excellent carvery meal specialty put on for Stone Young Farmers on a Tuesday evening. We shall certainly be back on a Sunday, not only to sample the excellent food but also the very pleasant staff, whom you could have some good banter with. Just hope they have that bath of red Merlo red wine ready.

Always a good Roast on a Sunday with the bonus of it being served from 12-4pm plenty of car parking space ,friendly and busy bar staff and servers,3 large eating areas , inside main building, in the conservatory and outside tables in the warmer seasons,also has a full menu , worth a visit

Large helpings & good choices. Food good value. Nice ambience. Largish car park.Gents toilets could do with being updated. Some find it difficult to find the opening in centre of dual carriageway when travelling from Stafford, especially in the dark. Do not take bookings.

We went for Sunday lunch not realising it was a carvery. It was busy and there was a short queue to get to the bar to order food. The pork was beautiful, the beef was a bit tough but I've had a lot worse from far more expensive places. Tables were sanitised between customers. We will go back to try the other menu options.
