The pub was very quiet considering it was a Saturday evening. We got our drinks & went to get our carvery. The server was just going to the kitchen to get a new pot of gravy & said he'd be a minute. He then had to replace a few of the vegetable pots on the counter, which took him some time. During this time at least 3 of the other members of staff told him we were waiting....but didn't offer him any help. Surely they are capable of swapping an empty pot for a full one? The vegetables that hadn't been changed were definitely past the best, there was no turkey left & the Yorkshire Pudding was almost inedible due to it being like rubber. Overall very disappointed with the visit & very unlikely to return.

Nice place been there twice, this second time im not happy with the steak so hard just the look of it. I said medium rare and its not. Staff are nice welcoming but the food will turn you away.

Lovely staff, and good priced food and quality, have had some lovely meals and would recommend.

First visit with a large group of netball friends.More than enough space for us to sit together.Everyone was pleased with their coffees and soft drinks.Lovely decor . Large car park.Didn't read the menu but people were eating .

The service was much better than when we came in last year.Staff were friendly and made sure we were happy and happy with our food. The only thing that we weren’t happy with was, we were waiting for about 15-20 mins for our plates to be taken away after we’d finished eating despite staff walking passed 3 or 4 times and could see that we had finished eating

Easy parking. Good welcome and menu. We all opted for the carvery which was well presented. 3 plate sizes and corresponding prices. My wife's small was fine, the standard was perfect for us. Everything well presented and hot. Pleased to see roast potatoes were in the serve yourself section (some carvery's serve them and usually only a couple). 2 meats - beef and ham and approx half a dozen veg. My wife reckoned the new potatoes were the best she'd had for a long time. Can't comment myself - plate full of toasties!! Pleasant staff and reasonable prices.

Had a fabulous meal with headway service is great and all the staff are friendly and always willing to help you and the puddings are amazing 😀
