My first visit, excellent customer service from start to finish. The only problem was we only had the option of beef at the carvery as it was after 5. Will definitely visit again.

Really nicely-decorated pub, lovely surroundings (bet it would be great in the summer) and very friendly staff. Good choice of food and very reasonable prices. Would definitely go again.

Absolutely superb. We were allowed to stay overnight in our motorhome for a family birthday meal. They were completely flexible when some of our party were delayed. Our booking was adjusted to suit. The food and drinks were excellent. A really good choice of menu perfectly cooked and presented. The staff were exceptional. Cannot be faulted thank you Team.

Love this place! All the food I’ve had here has been top notch (menu is a bit limited though) and same for the drinks. Whether you eat inside or out the surroundings are nice; inside, the old mill wheel is still there taking pride of place and there is a proper fire place too. Outside, you are next to a railway and it’s all nicely looked after. Instead of stopping for a McDonald’s at a service station, when travelling to Scotland from Oxfordshire, we get off at J14 of M6 and travel about 5 mins down the road so that we can eat at the Mill. Totally recommend it.

This was first visit to this establishment, arrived shown to booked table , atmosphere and decor was great . Ordered drinks and then food, all was fine until main course arrived , delivered by a young waitress, no problems with food but just presented food to use then just walked off ,didn't ask if we required any dressings of any kind . Wife actually fetched some herself ,finally the Lady who showed us to our table and took order asked if all ok ,advised her of what had happened and she did apologize profusely , apart from this small issue meal and everything else was fine , perhaps extra staff training would help, as wasn't actually over busy when we arrived. Would we return , definitely , and see how it goes then .
