This is the 4th time I've visited here and I wasnt pleased this time as the portion sizes were small. Having my 6 year old twin granddaughters with us, I explained if they ate their dinner they could have a pudding and I was charged the same price as an adult pudding but was a very small portion. The price for childrens puddings should be less than an adult as my partners was a good size portion.Very disappointed as felt I was ripped off.

Excellent dog friendly Pub restaurant, well laid out fairly spacious seating for dining. Staff were enthusiastic, efficient and welcoming. There is an on site brewery which you can only peak at thru the windows but good Ale well kept and with only beer yards not miles. Food service was quick and good reasonably priced fare. Definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic place! Excellent menu and super stars for staff. We come here regularly and are always impressed with the level of customer service and the quality of the food. Highly recommend!

Well this place certainly impressed us when we tried the daytime lunch menu recently. 3 courses for £12 was excellent for the price. It also has a in-house brewery doing a full range of good real ales. Highly recommend a visit.

I have been to the Roebuck a couple of times, always friendly, clean and very pleasant. On first impression you would expect the me u to be expensive but it's actually reasonably priced and the food is gorgeous. Served in a timely manner with a smile.I have recommended this place to a few friends who have all agreed it's a lovely place for a meal.

Friendly service. Fine food. Loved the Roebuck Bitter. Finished off with a traction engine procession past the pub. Perfect.

One of my favourite country pubs ever.. I would travel miles out of my way to go here in future.Service was phenomenal, better than many top restaurants. I had the Shepherd's Pie and it was possibly the nicest I've ever had.Cheesecake dessert very decent too, as was the coffee and the beer.My son had a kids meal which was reasonably priced and from a decent sized menu.Great ambience too, really nice crowd.

Arranged a tour and tasting as part of a Stag weekend. Big thanks to Steve and Annie as they were fantastic fun, really knew their stuff and kept our glasses full!Beer was delicious too!
