The Shimla Palace in Stafford

Visited with my wife and 2 teenage children. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and the service was excellent. There was always someone around to tend to our needs without being over powering.We all enjoyed our delicious meals with one of our children even asking that their thanks be passed onto the chef for a such tasty meal.We will definitely be back again.Thank you all at the Shimla Palace

Our first visit, won't be our last. Warm friendly welcome which continued throughout the evening with our table service, without being intrusive. Food was delicious and tasty, portion size was just right. All tasted very fresh.

What a welcoming environment, attentive service without being intrusive and food cooked just perfectly. We went early doors, yet managed not to feel awkward or overheard. Now our favourite curry house.

1st time here and it definitely won't be our last. Recently moved to the area and we have now found our Indian restaurant. Lovely food and the staff were so friendly

Booked a table for 4. Great reception and very friendly. Staff were all polite and welcoming.Very clean inside with immaculate toilets etc.Nice menu to choose from with plenty on offer.All the starters and main meals were excellent and really tasty.Cobra beer is on draught and was a fantastic drink.Highly recommended to dine in.A great service will definitely be returning for more.Thankyou Shimla Palace!!

Very disappointed, ordered after it was recommend by neighbours but unfortunately won't be ordering again.Took over 2 hours to be delivered but as it was a Saturday night its somewhat excusable however we were assured it would take no more than 90min which it exceeded.The worst part was by far the food. I ordered lamb bhuna which was terrible. Water seeped out of the sauce as I plated it up and it tasted so bland I had to add salt to make it edible. The meat was average at best tasted very overcooked and dry as were the chips. The naan was clearly sitting in the bag for a while as the steam had all condensated and left it soggy. Also had a Korma which wasn't too bad but again the meat was very dry. Arrived with 1 smashed poppadom. Only decent item was the rice. Must of been an off night as it seems most reviews are positive but unfortunately it was too bad to be worth risking again. Genuinely have had better curries from microwave meals

We went for a family bday, table of 8. The staff, as usual are all friendly. All our food came out correct as ordered, fresh and hot. We all enjoyed this place, and is our go to Indian takeaway. The time waiting to get the bill was laboured and if i was paying it, I'd have chased them up. But i wasn't 😂👍🎉

Very lovely customer service, called up to book a table came across to the restaurant manager Moh who was really nice and friendly and directed me there. Got there was greeted through the door and was served by Yusuf who was really friendly recommended me many different dishes which was the best restaurant dishes I’ve had in a very long time. Loved it so much that I went back the next day, friendly staff, friendly people, lovely food, probably the best place to dine in, in the UK. The next day ended up having so much fun that ended up having a laugh and so much fun after closing hours and ended up having a drink with Yusuf. Have had a time of my life at this restaurant and would definitely recommend to go there without fail, whether it’s for takeaway or eat in. Thank you once again to the team and Yusuf for being brilliant.
