Afternoon tea for birthday. Had a very enjoyable time, waitress was very attentive and friendly. Only thing I would say is definitely more choice in sandwiches and maybe less cakes. But it was very tasty and had good choice of hot drinks.

The hotel is very nice and all the staff are very pleasant and friendly. A very relaxed atmosphere. Free secure parking a really bonus. A great choice of food at breakfast and staff will bring you food at request ie scrambled egg and toast (not on menu.) All food beautifully presented and hot. Had food in restaurant one night and that was good too. Room (Superior) was very spacious, lovely and clean with a fridge, coffee machine and tea tray with a great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate, biscuits and a nice addition of chocolate bars. Bathroom had lovely toiletries and nice fluffy white towels. Checking in and out was very organized, reception will help with booking taxis or information about buses etc. A very nice experience.

It is not an exaggeration to say that this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Our room was fantastic; the bed was so comfy and the shower was amazing. The cocktails are to die for! I had the Toblerone which tasted exactly like a fancy chocolate, the type you'd get in a little box with a bow. The icing on the cake was the delicious breakfast. Again, I genuinely believe it was the best breakfast I've ever had. I had fruit salad to start followed by Eggs Florentine which was out of this world! The breakfast buffet was amazing too, there was so much to choose from but alas I was full! Another thing I want to add is that it can sometimes be nerve wracking checking into a hotel as a queer couple, especially as a couple who are gender non-conforming. However, we didn't have any problems at the hotel what so ever, we were treated just like any other couple and nobody batted an eyelid. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would love to come back again in the future!

Friendly staff, great menu, great secure parking. Food was lovely, the restaurant was a little cold but otherwise perfect. We had calamari and Katie chicken bites, followed by fish and chip and roast chicken dinner. All was very nice and came in a timely manner. Will definitely go back again soon.

Room was good overall (with a few maintenance/upkeep issues). The location and view compensated for some of these issues, as did the helpful staff. Breakfast menu has decent plant based options. We were slightly disappointed with the food in the evening: a very average fish and chips for £16 - several pubs we go to do much better for ~£10.

Room ok ( queen deluxe), bathroom tired, glad we didn't pay full price. Lovely bar and coffee lounges.Sunday roast was good apart from possible re heated roast potatoes.Breakfast not to bad cooked to order ( sausages very poor quality ) continental pretty poor. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Great hotel, room was a good size and well set up. Lovely breakfast with reasonable hours. The staff are great, friendly and attentive. No complaints and would definitely stay again.

Booked their last room which happened to be a family room, £105 for the night. Stayed there on my own. Room was very cold, heating wasn't working and could hear a sound throughout the night somewhat like a tumble dryer. The yellow rubber duck in the shower was a nice touch and although the room faced the high street, the outside noise wasn't loud. They lock the doors of a night time, so if you pop outside. You have to ring a buzzer and wait for staff to let you back in. This wasn't a problem though as he never took long to answer the door.

Absolutely loved it. Clean room and staff always at hand. Hotel catered for those who don’t drink with non alcoholic drinks of good variety. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Great complementary toiletries, bath robes and towels amongst all expected amenities. Definitely going to stay again. Thank you The Swan Hotel Stafford

A really wonderful nook of beauty and excitement just off the main shopping street in Stafford. A really lovely place to go and unwind with either an alcoholic or non alcoholic drink, and of course food! Vast selection of both. You'll experience top notch customer service and the rooms look delightful and reasonably priced too considering where it is 😊 Perfect place for a special occasion.... just hope my boyfriend sees this!! 😉😉😂😂
