Lovely setting both inside and out.The staff were all very polite. Service was really slow (and the restaurant wasn't busy) which was an issue for us as we only had limited time, but if you're there for pleasure rather than a work meeting, this is less of an issue. The crispy beef salad was generous and delicious. Perfect for a hot sunny day on the deck area. Will definitely return.

An enjoyable evening with a friend made more so by bring here. The decor is clean, fresh and contemporary. The staff attentive and approachable.A varied section of drinks with well kept beer. The menu was attractive with my choice served quickly, well presented and full of flavour. And the bill was less than I was expecting of such an experience.Highly recommended.

We love eating out here. We brought our Belgian friends for dinner, to taste your chicken pie - the best ever! They also reckon your chips rival their Belgian ones - now that’s impressive! Thank you, we had a fantastic evening 🙏

1st and most importantly, this visit was on mothering Sunday at peak time. The positives:Clean entry way and friendy bar staff.Good selection of drinksTable was ready close to the booking time.Serving staff went out of their way to help and provide a great customer experience. The bad bits. Some of the toilets were unusable,The menu was pretty limited and the food was barely warm when it arrived at the table.I had ordered the lamb and beef dinner and apart from being cold and very pink it also lacked any seasoning. The apple crumble desert was nothing to shout home about either. The pudding was pretty average, with undercooked apples and overall taste of nothing more than warm sugar. A tiny side thimble of custard was not enough to cover the desert and I was left disappointed.Overall this is not the 1st visit to this restaurant but it is a memorable one.Big thank you to a the staff who worked tirelessly on such a busy day but were let down by the food.

My first time here was back in December and I had the amazing The feedback from my friends was just "ok" and I didn't understand why until yesterday. The risotto was full of butter no other flavors. Crispy Pork Belly, bland not crispy! Fritters full of salt.Oyster mushroom was raw, uneatable.Terrible experience.

We stopped by chance on our way home from Norwich. Wow we were not disappointed! Sunday roast was delicious and black and blue burger was one of the best my husband had eaten. Staff friendly and attentive. Restaurant was beautifully decorated and spotless. We will definitely return when we're on our travels!

17.11.21. This wouldn't be my first choice for a meal out. I'm more of a trad pub grub person. However, despite the higher price it was very good and worth the money. £14 burger and similar for fish £17 and pork £17 dishes. Childs gammon at £5 cant go wrong. And the Christmas turkey dinner looked excellent at £17. I wouldn't pay the steak prices. Service was spot on and the restaurant itself is classy and impressive. I'll definitely go back and try something other than the burger. Although it was substantial and very tasty some other dishes looked even better. The onion rings side order are very large and best shared. At £88 for 4 adults and 1 child the quality and price are very competitive. 24.11.21. 2nd visit. Usual high standards as last week. The chicken skewer was divine with the yellow curry and coconut rice. Hope to go again next week. Christmas turkey also spot on.

Absolutely loved going here again on a date night with my husband. All the staff especially our waiter was polite, welcoming and happy. The food was 1st class and service was second to none. We didn't have to wait very long at all for the food and drinks we ordered, and the restaurant was very busy. Will definitely look forward to going there again! Xx
