Walton Fish Bar in Stafford

Dropped in here for simple chips and gravy on the way home to Stoke from Tamworth.Absolutely fabulous chips. We sat and munched them in the car while they were still piping hot. Fab. Fab. Fab.Thanks Walton Chippy!!

Best fish for miles, always fresh and portions are generous.Staff are helpful and friendly.We use them every week and never been disappointed

Nice little chippy in Stone. Often busy so expect to wait a bit. No complaints on the food front, solid on the fish, sausage and chips front every time. A little at the pricey end of a chippy but you do get good portions.My only complaint is it's cash only and I rarely carry cash these days, I would like to see contactless appear for convenience.

Last 2 times fish was dry and overcooked.we have used this chip shop for years.but 3 strikes and I am out.shame pricing goes up and standards go down.weather spoons fish far better.

Dont bother awful food my fish was disgusting chip were like bullets the staff were not pleasant looked at.me like I was asking for free.food when I asked for a bag.

Very tasty and well cooked chips in ample portions, which is the main point of a traditional chippy. We had small cod and all steak pie with ours... hospitable staff, what more is needed?

The most expensive fish and chips ever! The food was OK but, I couldn't park outside the chippy so, parked next door by the supermarket. It was dark and didn't realise I was on cctv. Got a £60 parking fine! I was totally unaware I needed to pay for parking. Be careful

Most impressed. They're taking Covid precautions seriously, so felt safe. Ordering was easy, menu is clearly displayed and service both friendly and fast.Most impressed when I got home and opened my package. It looked so good - hence the photo and it tasted as good as it looked.Beautifully fresh, crisp batter with proper chips and good portions tooThoroughly recommended

Went for the first time Friday asked for Large cod and got the biggest fish I have ever seen from a chippie must of been at least a foot long! Batter was nice and crispy. Took a star off as they only took cash.
