Visited with my friend yesterday as was central for us both coming from Wolverhampton and Stoke, food was absolutely horrific.I ordered the chicken new York and it was very dry and very burnt (cremated), sent it with gravy not bbq sauce, bacon was all fat and not cooked definitely not worth the price i paid for it at all!My daughter ordered a burger it came and was extremely burnt and dry, she ended up just eating the bap and the 10 fries that was on her plate. My friend ordered a chicken and bacon sub sandwich, the chicken was dry, the toast was cremated, yet the chef had tried to hide the burnt toast by putting them burnt side down, she literallt ate just the chips.I've never ever been to somewhere and we've all come away hungry due to the food not being edible. Nearly £50 we spent on meals for 6 of us (4 children and 2 adults) and had to go and fork out more money to stop the children being hungry on the drive home.Nearly Ruined what should of been a lovely catch up after not seeing each other for over a year, was just lucky the company of my friend and our children was absolutely amazing. Will most certainly not be returning, staff also need to learn to be more approachable and not roll their eyes and huff when you mention about the food, if they don't want people to reply to their "is everything ok with the food" with the truth, then I advise them not to ask.Normally if there was something wrong with my meal I'd say nothing but for the meals to be inedible, I told them about the problems when they asked. Just a shame we wasted the amount we did.

Given cutlery which wasn't washed properly had food on forks had them changed twice. The main course was very good but the desert chocolate fudge cake which after ordering appeared 20 minutes later was dry. Won't be returning.

Me and my boyfriend went here on valentines day, it was my choice I nearly died from the fat on the bacon being stuck in my throat, the food orders were wrong but they refunded so was a good service for fixing an issue I suppose that's why I've given 3 stars. I always used to love going to Wildwood for food im still a bit traumatised after the bacon sitcho so I'm in no rush to go back. The business is accommodating and clean never the less and all workers are polite and helpful. My experience will not be every ones I just get the bad luck all the time.

We paid £40.99 for a 3 course Christmas dinner and was disappointed with my choice of main meal. My starter was Tomatoe and Basil soup with a warm baguette and butter, but baguette was cold. I had Root Vegetable and Walnut Wellington with sliced Carrots and Brocolli, which was overcooked, and deep fried parsnips and potatoes. Didnt have a Yorkshire pudding when it was stated. Between 5 of us there was 1 sproat and had to ask for more and when we got them, they were parr boiled and tasted horrible. The dessert was Caramalized Apple Crumble with Ice Cream and Custard but found it hard to find the Caramel.Very friendly staff but food should be sorted out. Wasnt worth the money, sorry. Didnt want to complain to spoil the day as it was the first time I had been out for Christmas Dinner.

I can confirm that we had a dreadful experience tonight, mine and my son's had been standing whilst we waited for the steak,...our meals came out separately and my chips were cold and I dread to see where they had been before they went in the bowl...I had my chips replaced but by the time they came back I had eaten majority of my meal and the chef brought out 3 portions ...what the heck was he thinking??...you have alot of work to do as this is the 4th time in the last month or so I have had my meal took back due to something being cold/standing or dragged round the kitchen before it's slapped on the skillet!!!! This is how much I had eaten of my meal before fresh chips were brought back..in quantity..I can confirm I only ate 1 bowl as who would want 3!!!!!!!!
