Wolseley Arms in Stafford

Was busy as nice hot day. Staff were lovely but shame to say the food wasn't great. Had a table of 3 adults and 2 children, Was very dry, and when asked for some sauce got 2 tiny spoon fulls for the whole table. Kids burgers had no butter or sauce so they had what we was given. Luckily I had a pint of water to wash it down. Just expected a bit more for the price we paid.

Been here a few times as you're guaranteed a nice meal, friendly staff & pleasant atmosphere. Good prices too. Only negative for me is that the toilets are upstairs

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the Wolseley Arms. The food was superb and the customer service was excellent. We are fortunate to eat out alot and over the past couple of years we have been saddened to see how poor, customer service has become. However that is certainly not the case at the Wolseley Arms, the friendly staff cannt do enough for you and genuinely seem happy to have customers to serve. It is local to us and we will definitely be coming back very soon.

Pleasant staff, very accommodating. Popped in for some food on the way back from the shopping outlet. Nice log fire to keep you warm, reasonable be selection and the food was good. Prices are on par with your local pub/restaurants service was efficient. Just what we wanted.

Thank you to all the wonderful staff for yet another great dining experience. We were warmly welcomed by Chris who ensured everything went smoothly. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere felt warm and friendly. We will be back again soon!

The food and service was excellent the atmosphere was warm and welcoming can't wait to go again .The lasagne was lovely.

Enjoyed a pleasant relaxed lunch here once again. Lovely clean and comfortable surroundings.Food tasty and well presented. Staff helpful, friendly and attentive. Would recommend this establishment, having had a number of meals with both friends and family. Prices reasonable for style and type of food, which is a mixture of pub classics with a twist, seasonal veg and triple cooked cooked chips. Plenty of sides to add to meals and a decent selection of deserts.

Popped in today for a lunchtime meal. Was very busy but staff were very good and friendly and efficient. We had Chris looking after us and he was amazing. Nothing to much trouble and very friendly and funny!! Food was fabulous and we have booked again for an evening meal in a weeks time. Great Atmosphere well done 👍

Possibly one of the nicest pub lunches I've had in years (and I've had a few lol). Bustling old pub with different rooms and a lovely atmosphere. Service to begin with was a little slow (but perfectly friendly) but hey you don't go to a country pub for fast food. The food when it arrived was excellent, we all had different dishes and all looked mouth watering and everyone agreed there food was superb. Oh and the beer and wine were rather good to
