Dylan keeps a great cellar & a great selection of Whiskey. Well worth a visit

The Monk was not upto the usual high standard and at 18.30pm the music was perhaps not appropriate, judging by the comments made by other customers leaving The Rose & Crown at this time

Been wanting to visit for so long, finally got the chance tonight. Stunning old pub, immaculately kept, gorgeous selection of ales we'd never tried before which were very reasonably priced and we will absolutely come back to try the rest, I wish we had more time tonight! Thank you for having us :)

Glad it's open again. New landlord is enthusiastic and knows what he is doing. Great beer from Joules. Also free battered balls about 5 every Friday!
