Best chips I've had for a long time .

I've been a loyal customer for 20 years , I turn up with 3 hungry children and wait patiently to be seen for at least 15 minutes, then to be told they will not accept my order despite me being right there and only wanting some sausage and chips for the children , well thats the last time ill go in, so we went to haregate who accepted us straight away and were very friendly and welcoming

Able to order over the phone for a time for collection. Friendly and order ready for pickup at agreed time. Fish and chips lovely, not greasy, very tasty. Be careful, walk ins are not always available due to the advanced orders, so get in there quickly. You can order a little before open time so check website for details.

Lovely fish and chips, great pies, good portions good prices, not so good sausages.

We're not local and arrived during the pandemic to find a board outside saying they prefer telephone orders, but will try to accommodate walk-in orders.We also didn't realise they closed at 8pm on a Friday night and we arrived ten minutes before closing!Nevertheless, they managed to provide us with what we wanted - 8 fish and chip meals and drinks.All were delicious.Mightily impressed. Thank you!

Fabulous chip shop. The best in Leek. We have from Monty's very regularly, never had a bad meal. Generous sizing and good value for money. The phone and collect system they now have in place (due to covid) is fab. I call up, select a time to collect our food, and I'm in and out of the shop in minutes! No waiting around or queuing outside! :) The staff are all super friendly and chatty too. 100% recommend.

Filling and healthy portion of fish and chips. All fried separate from meat - been searching like crazy. All staff very helpful and friendly.Two large cod with three large chips fed five very hungry stomachs. All, not the stomachs, cooked fresh on order. Great value suggested by the older member of staff.The syrup pudding with custard highly recommended, but with cream just as delicious.They take bookings, so hoping to have our last supper Saturday night.

It's one of the best fish and chips place. They manage to get it right every single time. The staff there are very friendly! Quick service.Took the lunch meal deal where you get small fish and chips, mushy peas, buttered toast and coffee/tea. What more can you ask for on a cold day in Leek. All that for £5.90. it's a bargain!
