New Broom Inn in Staffordshire Moorlands

Camped here for one night after Alton Towers and it was perfect. Only about 15/20 minutes drive. Booked a hardstanding pitch as that was all that was available last minute but was upgraded to a grass pitch on arrival. Ate in the pub as we were too tired to cook and the food was really good, proper pub food as I call it. It was really cheap too and we thought it was under priced for the quality and quantity. Husband had a mixed grill which was only £14. I had a lasagna and daughter the child's pasta meal, all were great. There's a seperate toilet block in the car park and a shower block too. The pub had a play area which was ideal. Campsite was nice and quiet, we all slept 10+ hours and didn't hear a thing. There is some slight road noise but we barely noticed it. Staff were really attentive too. It looks like a good campsite for children to make friends, my daughter was disappointed that we were only staying one night. Will definitely stay here again on our visits to Alton Towers.

This place is amazing! Lovely people lovely food nice pint. Decent tent pitch. And really gd pricing! I turned up quite late 8 45 pm. The gaffer said I'll cook if you want something! I Got a gammon steak that was massive! 2 eggs chips and pee's and 2 pints of Guiness and a tent pitch for 32 quid! Staff are great, locals where great with me. I will be back! Loved the place.
