A lovely little tea rooms with lots of character. We stopped off for a quick coffee which was great, it was a shame we didn't have time for some of the cakes as they looked amazing!

Very pleasant, friendly staff, situated in an old school takes me back to my primary school days. Good food, great home made chips.

Although this is a lovely tearoom we were very disappointed today. We travelled over half a hour to get there as according to the Web page they were open till 4. We arrived at 3.05 and the tearoom was shut. Complete waste of time and petrol.

This was a lovely little cafe which is located in an old school house. It was quite busy as they were doing Sunday lunches so a telephone booking may be advisable on a Sunday. The Sunday dinner was excellent and is available I three sizes to suit all appetites. The sandwich I had came with a side salad and homemade coleslaw all of which was very fresh and thoroughly enjoyable. The cream tea is highly recommended as the scone is absolutely marvelous, beautifully light and fresh and mine was still warm which shows how fresh everything is. The cakes also looked amazing but unfortunately I was to full to sample them... the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the whole place was very clean. The business is clearly run by people who are very good home cooks and excellent bakers. Well worth a visit if you are need of refreshment. They are currently open Wednesday to Sunday.

Lovely sunny spot for a socially distanced lunch stop while out with the cycling club. No indoor seating allowed when we visited due to lockdown rules but the outside space is inviting, in a sunny relatively wind sheltered spot. The menu is quite extensive. Our group of 8 were very well looked after with table service, drinks arriving promptly followed shortly after by our tasty food orders. Good quality ingredients cooked and presented to a high standard. Tables are picnic style benches. There is step free access to the outside seating area via the car park at the rear. Ample parking and well looked after toilets. Highly recommended.
