So still currently sitting here waiting for our food we sat down at 8.45 took 30 minutes to get our drink honestly know one knows what there doing our waiter took our drinks order never to come back to take our food order! Last year was just as bad but we took it with a pinch of salt with everything going on but this time was just terrible! We have cancelled for tomorrow and heading to TGIs instead!

Whether it’s Breakfast or an evening meal this place is simply magnificent. The staff are so lovely and helpful, and a quick shout out to Val and James, both of which had a nice chat with us and left us smiling. The food is excellent, and the portions are really generous. Everyone here is stellar and a joy to be around. In the end, for starter, main and extras it was £53, which is pretty standard for most restaurants. When you add in the brilliant service it’s an absolute steal. A wonderful addition to a wonderful trip away.Keep doing amazing, guys!

Despite a couple of hiccups with booking a table and unexpected cancellations, eating here was the best experience of all the restaurants at Alton Towers. They surprisingly had the best quality food and the service was friendly and efficient. I wouldn’t eat anywhere else in the park.

The staff were great, this is not a fault of them! The draught beers were all offline which was a disappointment, but things go wrong at no fault of anyone, but this was the beginning! We were sat on a undesirable table, when many nicer tables were free (we asked to be reseated).Drinks measures were sketchy (I own a pub)The pasta was tasteless. The burger left questions to be asked. The kids mash was cold. The price people are paying in these type of establishments deserves better quality and service IMO.

We stayed at the enchanted village on a three night stay and the Crooked spoon is where we were booked daily for breakfast and also enjoyed an evening meal here. There were minor queues upon each visit, the staff were all friendly and tried to assist where possible. The breakfast was fine. Personally had better breakfast at a Premier Inn, however as included in the price and as the location was great to our accomodation, this worked well. Was pleasantly surprise when we visited for an evening meal. I had half chicken and couscous meal and it was lovely and fresh and made a lovely change to the normal fried food we had been eating otherwise within the park and resort. Would be happy to eat here again if we visit the park in future.

Evening meal here, and booked beforehand.Slight queue, then seated with menu. It wasn't too busy on arrival and soon quietened down. This is an order at the table with a real person place, and the staff were really friendly. The menu had a good selection and is reasonably priced for an on-park restaurant.Food came relatively quickly and tasted as good as it looked. The burger was juicy not dry, the pork steak was lush. The food was warm but not boiling.Puddings are a separate menu and another varied selection. The winner for us was Crooked Mess.Overall 4 adult meals, soft drinks and 3 puds came in just under £100.

Absolutely brilliant place for dinner. We went into our reservation here a bit pensive as the previous night of our stay we eat at The Secret Garden restaurant and it was absolutely awful. The Crooked Spoon however was amazing and we are so glad we ended our stay on such a high. From the moment we sat down and was greeted by our waiter Robert we felt so relaxed and in safe hands, Robert couldn't have been more helpful and nothing was a problem for him to do.We ate some sharing Nachos to start, aSirloin Steak that was cooked medium as requested and a Tennessee Burger which again was amazing. The chefs are certainly good here as all was cooked perfect. The portion size was massive, we couldn't finish it all. We were so full we didn't have room for pudding, which looked amazing. When we come back we will definitely eat here

There's a brilliant selection for breakfasts, full english breakfast, cereals, fruit, toast, pastries and pancakes. Also a good selection of drinks aswell, apple juice, orange juice, Tea and coffee. The staff are really helpful. Friendly atmosphere.

Breakfast is very poor for so called 4 star Resort. Taking off the price of the Alton Tower park, the staying cost around £150 2 adults 1 child/night so I would expect an amazing breakfast specially regarding items for children. No cheese, no bread roll, no porridge oats, only one fresh fruit, no hot chocolate, no you name it.
