The Greyhound Inn - Pub & Restaurant in Staffordshire Moorlands

Fantastic place! Clean, good food and nice beers on tap. Amazingly friendly barmaid. Booked a table for our last night in England the day after tomorrow. The only annoying thing is that we didn't discover this lovely place earlier!

Returned to the Greyhound Inn for another special getaway. Love the the location, atmosphere and how cosy it was. The rooms are immaculate and very clean, the landlord and lady are very welcoming and easy to get a long with & the food is superb. Will definitely return multiple times. Extremely impressive as always.

We came here for a meal our first night of a long weekend in the Peak District. It was such a great experience: friendly atmosphere, dog biscuits for our puppy, great ales, delicious slow roasted lamb all for good value. We stopped back in for a pint and some crisps after a walk and got some helpful tips of the area. We will definitely be back and recommend to anyone. Once the weather is good looks like an awesome outdoor space so we hope to visit again in summer

Found this lovely pub on the way back to our cottage stay. Had a lovely drink then finished it off with 1 of the best Hot Chocolates we have had in a while. Great vibe in this place will defo be back for food as the menu looked good!🍺🍹☕☕

A little Gem of a pub! The food is amazing, lots of attention to detail, even the bacon sandwich comes in a brioche bun with a hash brown on top! Couldn't ask for more! The food is delicious, the staff are extremely welcoming and the atmosphere is great! The rooms are lovely and the detail and finish is spot on! Brilliant stay! Got in touch to see if I could park/camp for the night in my van as I had a training day in Warslow the next day.The owners were great and I enjoyed a lovely lamb shank dinner with a couple of pints before having a really quiet night in the car park.

Four of us stayed overnight. The rooms have been refurbished to a good standard, nice and bright and spotlessly clean. The pub serves great beer and very nice food. Lee and Jen are great hosts and couldn't be more helpful. The breakfast was super. Ideally located for walks and cycling in the lovely countryside. Would highly recommend .

Had an amazing 2 night stay. Amazing food. Fantastic room. Unbelievable service. Great beers on offer. Stunning walking routes from the pubs door. Dog friendly. Will be booking a return visit and encouraging outers to do the same! Highly recommended!
