Nice little pub part of Greene King group went there to watch the boxing good atmosphere and nice big plate food

Really quick service and friendly staff. The separation between the bar area and restaurant area is really nice to allow for a quiet family meal, though I imagine it may be much louder when a sporting match is on.All in all, a very nice meal and experience, and all for a decent price too.

Sophie served us with a great smile and was just a genuine positive person overall she always was smiling and very passionate about her work

We visited here when we where on a trip to Alton Towers and had the most wonderful meal. The service was 5 star, food excellent and the prices where spot on. Would definitely visit again next time we go to Alton Towers!

We visited twice in two days whilst holidaying locally. This is a large venue with plenty of space for family dining as well as a separate area for over 18s only.Screens show sports etc. Large bar area, booths with TVs as other Hungry Horse sites but lots of different types of seating, free standing or part of banks of seating.Outside seating in in the open air and undercover too, all fenced off to keep children safe from the main road and car park. I think I saw a play area but can't be sure. Blue badge spaces close to the building at the side of the main road.Good clean toilet facilities and a separate disabled and baby changing areas.A good range of ales on offer and the familiar Hungry Horse menu.Food was quickly delivered and nice and hot. Staff attentive, asking if all was OK, whether we wanted any other drinks or desserts and we were thanked and wished a good day on the way out.

10/10 atmosphereCame for the quiz which is always so so so funWe were served at the bar by Daisy, who recommended me a gorgeous drink of the koppaberg strawberry and lime vodka and the same flavour gin. Thanks for giving me a new favouriteWe had some picky food bits to share and as always they were yummy, hot and out quick. Special shout out to Chefs Luke and Carol food was lush.

Always a pleasure visiting this Hungry Horse. The food is consistently good and the staff are always friendly and accommodating and today was no exception. Sophie was amazing!

went for breakfast, it was extremely quiet so we got served quick and it was a good breakfast for the price. nice and easy on a morning you fancy a fry up

Disappointing. The pub wasn't that busy but there was a massive wait for drinks and food arrival.They'd ran out of lasagne and Mac n cheese and fish and chips (liked how do you not have enough stock of the basics?)Ended up ordering a couple of hunters chicken, chicken tikka, scampi and chips, along with a couple of snack trays - chicken and chips and sausage and chipsThree sausages should of been in the tray. Two arrived. And they were nasty, burnt and dry. I think these sausages are lower price than Tesco basics rubbish.Ordered 2* three scoops of ice cream for the kids which arrived as a single scoop... A disappointing visit to what used to be a regular stop after Alton towers.

Mixed grill, 2x sausages difficulty penetrating with the steak knife, If they were cooked on the day I will eat my hat, Unedible, Also no Vinegar for the meals and none in the back either. Social distanced tables right between 2 ques of drinkers either side of the table, really appealing, booked by phone. We have visited many times before pandemic, and this was our first visit since.
