Visited twice now over the past week, first for drinks and a second visit we decided to order food. Had the Red Lion Burger and although the pub was very quiet, our food was definitely fresh and well put together. Really enjoyed the burger, the bun was a bit stale but the meat was cooked perfectly, the salad was full of colour and fresh, the onion and red pepper were crunchy. The coleslaw was home made, the chips were seasoned beautifully and the onion rings were crisp too. Paid extra for bacon on the burger, this was full of flavour and well cooked!Staff were extremely polite and helpful, very accommodating.Will certainly visit again in the future.

We nipped in here for a couple of hours with two dogs for a drink and a bite to eat. Beer excellent as is the new lunchtime menu. Staff fantastic and a great pub to spend an afternoon in. The barman and server ‘Josh’ was excellent and a credit to the business. Keep up the great work.

Absolutely fantastic three course meal for valentines night. The meal was outstanding- top quality. The entertainment and atmosphere perfect, from the hearts and flowers, to the servers, we were blown away! Book for 2023 before word gets out and you can't get a table!!

Red lion. Lasagne all round 1 plant based 2 meat. Very nice. The staff overheard it was our granddaughters birthday and brought out ice cream,brownie desert with a happy birthday candle , on the house. And put the tune over the tannoy. No one asked them to. A lovely personal touch. Thank you Red Lion.

Called in Tuesday around 6 to enquire about eating later was told food available till 8 agreed to rerun later but at 7 accompanied with partner and dog was turned away as they had decided to send the chef home because it was quiet. Another couple who came in at the same time for food left too. It did is a favour though as we had an excellent meal in a much better atmosphere at the Robuck round the corner.
