Landlord and landlady have turned this gem of a pub back to how it used to be, great place to relax with a well kept drink. Great people through out the place

Stayed in the area for a couple of days and were made to feel very welcome…. Excellent beer etc should be in the good beer guide if they’re not already….

Great atmosphere and good food. The landlord and lady and the staff make everybody welcome.

The red lion pub has only just reopened after two years been closed. I called in when passing on a bike ride. The pub is really nice and had a warm welcome. I will definitely be calling back on my next ride.

Love this place. The owner is really friendly and accommodating. Very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Good selection of beers. I spend a lot of time round this way, but if I lived here it'd be my local.
