The Red Lion Inn in Staffordshire Moorlands

Small friendly pub tucked away off the main road. Good honest pub grub with friendly staff and locals who made us feel welcome. Dogs welcome too. Good selection of drinks and good value for money.

Went for dinner, was quite busy for a Wednesday, friendly people, had one of the best stroganoff.

Awesome place to visit and eat and drink. If you want very reasonably priced food and plenty of it, and I mean plenty, then go visit. Service is excellent and a roaring fire if its cold. A very cosy place..

Lovely country pub. Food and beer was excellent. 10 of us all really enjoyed it.

Great starters. However was a little let down by the chicken roast, everything was a little sub par unfortunately. Not bad, but not great either

Loved staying here, so quiet and green but be aware of some of the surrounding roads as they can be a little 4x4 😳

On a Sunday bike ride and stopped for lunch. Some of the best pub food I have had for a long time. I will be returning soon
