A very welcoming pub with ample parking. Our meals were lovely, drinks refreshing and desert was just divine. The waiting on staff were very friendly and super efficient. The prices were reasonable and the service was quick. The premises were clean and the dining room we were in felt cosy.If I really had to find one Improvement I would of liked more vegetarian options.I cannot wait to return.

A winning combination!!Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely, unpretentious homecooked food with real chips and reasonably priced, (great prices on the 2 course deals Tues - Sat), Varied menu including vegetarian and vegan choices. A clean and nicely decorated restaurant in a lovely village setting. We are regulars here and because it's very popular it does get busy so I recommend booking, even for late availability, to avoid disappointment. Dog friendly but inside it's limited to a designated dining area only so advisable to check if available.Tip: The burgers are really tasty but being steak they are cooked a bit pink which probably serves them at their best, if this is not to your liking ask for well done which they will be happy to do for you.

Visited here a few times now which is an endorsement in itself. The menu is quite traditional with staple fayre on it but it's all very consistent and very well realised. Nice atmosphere and the house beer is good. Would recommend easily.

First visit, lovely friendly staff and service excellent. Food was delicious although did feel the portion of bread and butter pudding was on the small side for the price. Having said that we will definitely go back as mains were hot, very tasty and good portions.

Good mains and chips. I only haven't given 5 stars as the staff weren't very attentive, we asked for extra drinks and they forgot....luckily we weren't charged for them. Also the onion rings aren't fresh they're the frozen ones 😏

Went last night as a group of four, the staff were really nice and friendly, the room we were in was lovely, I have to say I'm a really fussy eater and struggle usually to find things on a menu that I like, but last night I was spoiled for choice! There were several things on the starters that I liked and also on the mains, the food was fabulous and really well presented, we will definitely be back soon 😀

What a find. Delicious food ,served by efficient friendly staff. The festive menu,3 courses for£20 is perfect. Highly recommend the pork loin in cranberry and orange gravy, followed by the homemade Bailey's cheesecake. A lovely evening.

Lovely restaurant. Food delicious, everything kept very clean, service very good. Car park. Book in advance as they get very busy. Only criticism is the atmosphere is not quite intimate and cosy enough for a couple. Lighting could be lower and candles on tables would be good as atmosphere is very important for a special night out, otherwise perfect. Dessert was lovely, and wine very good.

Absolutely fabulous food. Really good sized meals. Was really impressed with a good selection of vegan options. Staff work really hard and are very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit
