The Silken Strand Hotel Restaurant in Staffordshire Moorlands

Nock and Carmen went over and above to make our last minute stay last night amazing. Such a lovely bar , comfortable bedroom and fab company . Prosecco, jacuzzi bath and clean jeans 🤣 packed lunch were all special personal touches to us x thank you Claire and Mark xx

We attended a wedding in Heaton on Friday. We booked a night for five guests in The Silk Hotel.... wow, wow, wow what a beautiful hotel. The rooms are a dream and the most comfiest hotel bed I have slept in. The manager /owner was an absolute star 🌟. He was very helpful in every way possible., very polite and courteous. All our needs were attended to.Thank you The Leek Hotel for a great stay.

The silk House hotel is a true gem. Not only is the hotel itself absolutely beautiful, with stained glass windows and exposed beams, it was also spotlessly clean and comfortable. However, the most impressive aspect of the Silk House is the host. He was so lovely and accommodating. He made everyone so welcome and was fantastic with our children. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

What a place! We decided go for a drink after going around Leek market and we are so glad we discovered this gorgeous hotel and bar. The owner was very welcoming,beer was superb,stunning period features throughout and beer garden has got be best in Leek!

What a lovely period property with original features. Boutique bar and the owner couldn’t do enough for us. He offered a wealth of local knowledge - nothing was too much bother! Thank you so much for going above and beyond!

Popped in for a pint while in Leek for lunch, really nice feel to the place and i was made to feel really welcome. Passed half an hour with a very good pint and a friendly chat. 👍

What a find, fantastic building and a fantastic host. Loved the overall feel of the place from booking in until we left. Continental breakfast was excellent and I could of drunk the coffee all day, it was superb. Great overall service with some very helpful knowledge of the surrounding area. We are planning our next trip already!

Stayed for one evening after visiting Alton Towers, had a really lovely time. Nick was very friendly and accommodating, recommending somewhere for dinner and even put balloons up for my birthday. The continental breakfast and coffee was delicious, the rooms are beautiful. We had a fantastic time. Thank you so much

We went in for breakfast this morning and we ate out in the garden. Lovely seating area and staff couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. The full English Breakfast was very tasty and the coffee and orange juice was always on supply for refills. Hidde gem really.
