Toby Carvery in Staffordshire Moorlands

The last time we went to the toby in Endon was in January last. On a Friday..On that day the food was good. However today it was awful. Meat cut as thin as tissue paper, hardly any of it. We are talking just after 12noon.all the veg were cold,cauliflower cheese not cooked Brussels Rock hard. This will be our last visit..

Enjoyed a meal here yesterday evening. The staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for them. The food was lovely as you could tell from our (mostly) empty plates.As is often the case with Carvery's, the peas were a little dry, suggesting the food needed refreshing a little quicker. And the serving handles were very hot. But we were genuinely happy with the rest of the food and the service.

We had a really nice meal at the Toby Carvery Endon. The food was very nice. Excellent value for money. We were served by Ruth who was absolutely fantastic. A true credit to the company - Ruth was very nice and looked after us all evening. Thank you Ruth!

Always a good atmosphere in the place, great food and the regulars are always friendly and chatty. Staff are helpful with anything you need. Nice to even just go down for a drink in the evening.

I have not been to this venue in ten years and the level of attuide by the manager to a regular . Was disgusting in regards to his dog being in the venue . It’s company policy she screamed to his face . In all the years I have known animals always have been in and considering he has been going in 40 years . The lack of empathy and humility in. Customer service. I am more then happy pass my cv on for the role

In much need of renovation - damage to the walls has not been repaired and the whole place looks really tired, rundown and hasn't been given a lick of paint for many years by the look of it (inside and outside) Badly needs investment from the company.The staff were friendly and the food was okay, however, I find the China Gardens to be better. Will not be returning sadly.

Our waitress Jasmin was so lovely and made our night. However, I wouldn’t even feed this beef to my dog.

Went for lunch. The food was bland and the roast beef was very chewy. So not cooked long enough. We ordered the pigs in blankets and they came after the meal. They ware so overcooked that they were dried out. So we spent £5 on something that we couldn't eat. The service was not great either. I'll not be going back ever.

Our party got there slightly early and was directed to the bar area, while our table was being prepared.Once directed to our tables, they were clean and the staff were very attentive.Food was well cooked, and it was some of the best carvery I've had in a very long time.Loads of choice on the vegetables and this was great to see.Couldnt recommend this enough.

Following on from our delightful meal we decided to have some drinks in the bar.We was greeted by a lady (later known as Jayne). She was well presented and had a beautiful radiant smile. Nothing was too much trouble and completed our evening out. Thank you Jayne for a 5* service
