Loved stopping here after walking to Thor's Cave.Got some drinks and ice creams before making the most of the hot weather and splashing around in the shallow Manifold river/stream outside.Lots of the river bed was bone dry further down the trail and a local told me it goes underground and only fills up I the winter.Beatiful place.

Nice little café a must stop on the way to Thors cave to get a few drinks for the hike ahead. The perfect place to visit on the way back from Thors cave as well. Toasted teacakes are good. Staff are helpful with information about nearby caves.Nice view of a small river next to the cafe as well with loads of ducks

Don't expect the earth, it's a simple friendly tea room serving light snacks and lovely cakes, and all the more delightful for that. A great place to start or end a walk or a ride.

Another nice tearoom on the hamps/manifold cycle/walking route. Sit at the picnic tables or dangle your feet over the walled edge and watch the river trickle by. Maybe watch a wagtail. Walk up to a cave just above.

This place is ok as a walker's stop-off cafe. Very limited food wise (sandwiches, drinks, tea cakes, scones and basic hot drinks) and fairly small; but the resident cats for company and cuddles made up for it.

A wonderful spot for a break in the beautiful Manifold Valley, in the Peak District. Great views, friendly folk - and superb snacks. Their wide range of flapjacks - home cooked on site - are the best I've ever had. And right in the heart of great walking (and cycling) country too.

Nice little place to park with toilets after your hike in manifold valley. Tea,cakes sandwiches & Ice creams for hot days. Small cave above to take the kids & normally ducks on the river.

Great day at Thor’s cave and found this little tea room, caramel latte is recommended as it’s one of the best I have had!!! Also the corn beef and potato pasta was really nice to.

What a little hidden gem ❤️ Great to sit on the waters edge eating ice cream on a hot summers day whilst the kids can play and cross the shallow waters. Lovely little clean cafe with toilet facilities and adhering to covid regulations. Offers outdoor seating with parasols on a hot day. Carpark is gravel but still OK for motorcycles.

This place was wonderful, there is a lake, is not deep water, behind the cafe there is a small cave if you look behind the cafe. There is a car park and it is free for everyone, but my disappointment is there isn't a internet connection. If you go to small cave behind the cafe, you will see Thor cave ahead behind small cave.
