Lovely well maintain pub. Great food, good selection.Front and rear outside seating area.Great for a stop off on your way to from Buxton.

Beautiful pub and huge fish and chips for £9.80. What a bargain. It was delicious too. I will definitely be visiting here again in the future.

First visit since the refurbishment and very impressed. Decor is beautiful, very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the lamb shank, melt in the mouth and highly recommended, other half had rib-eye which was equally delicious and perfectly cooked. Portions are very generous and well presented. We will definitely be visiting again 😊

Lovely setting, great selection of local (and non-local) drinks. It's been done up recently and is really classy inside. Will definitely be going again for something more substantial than a couple of drinks.Edit: Have been for something more substantial than drinks and was not disappointed. Lovely, filling food. The prices are quite dear but the portion sizes are very large.

Enjoyed this pub. Food was delicious, great ales, and service was exemplary. The place is spotless and tastefully renovated. It is fully accessible for those in wheelchairs (includes disabled toilets and marked disabled parking bays). Staff are very friendly and ensured I had an wheelchair accessible table in a dog friendly area (pool room).Highly recommended!

Honestly the best sunday roast ive had in ages!! Me and my friend couldn't pick between the lamb or the beef so we decided to share. Vegetables nice, caulu cheese nice loved the fact it was mash and roasts! Cant wait to pop by again when next in thr peaks beeb twicr now after walks

Such a sight for sore eyes after a long hike. So cosy, really lovely renovation. Friendly and welcoming staff. Cajun veggie pasta was delicious!

Nice to see The Rock Inn open again after being fully refurbished to a very high standard. Food excellent. The location is on the edge of the Peak District in the Staffordshire Moorlands. You have in the background the view of the Roaches now under the management of the Staffordshire Wild Life Trust.

Walked in for lunch today. Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Newly refurbished, wonderful views, amazing delicious food and the most polite and helpful staffs. Highly recommended.!

Very nice restaurant and pub, large meals, very clean and not expensive. Also a very nice walk up the lane to the roaches. Had a lovely visit on Thursday.
