Good oatcakes and crockery. Dry cakes and Panini.Though we did enjoy our time in Capability, it was slightly let down by clearly having opened too many cakes at once so they dried out a little (cakes not home made but I don't expect them to be). Somewhat saved by being served with pouring cream.Traditional oatcake was tasty and generous (approximately £5.50). Panini for similar price was not as well filled and needed some butter or some such.

Good range of cakes. Friendly & helpful staff. Cosy tearoom, thank you.

A real gem at Trentham. Great setting, friendly staff and wonderful food and drinks. Cakes are homemade and delightful. Would highly recommend for a morning coffee, lunches or afternoon tea in a lovely setting. Try a Sraffordshire oatcake for a local favourite.

Beautifully quaint tea room, desserts were delicious, no problems when asking for a soya milk hot chocolate for my son - and most importantly - decent sized teapots!

Tasty pot of tea. Traditional tea room. Friendly service. Nice relaxing atmosphere for a chat, cuppa ā€˜me Duck’

A traditional tea rooms with very pleasant staff and usual cakes on offer We had a "good chat" with one of the staff members

Lovely little tea room in trentham shopping village. The cafe offers a good selection of food and drinks. The cakes are well made and the owners offer vegan and dietary options that feel carefully thought out. The ladies are friendly and approachable and it was a really good experience!

Long wait for food but when it arrived it was lovely. Very cold in there as they kept one door open so a gale force wind blowing through. Staff seemed a bit stressed, had to wait ages for our drinks , we got the food first

Very average. Food portions very small. ā€œTriple layered panini with chicken, bacon and cheeseā€ wouldn’t have filled a 2 year old. One small shred of chicken in one half. Rip off for what it was. Will not return.

Oh well. For being a coffee house I received a mighty cappuccino when I actually ordered a latte and my slice of chocolate cake was nothing special. I have to say the coffee tasted bitter which is a great thing knowing that usually it tastes of nothing in this country. The waitress who served me didn't social distanced when bringing my order.
