Funky Chicken Meir in Stoke-on-Trent

Use to enjoy the food from here, but waiting for hours for food I won’t be ordering from here again, got so feed up of waiting for I ended up ordering a McDonald’s for the kids, tried ringing several times no one picked up. Did eventually turn up and I turned the guy away. Said we would get a refund then after they said we won’t be getting a refund worst customer service I’ve ever come across.

Good place to eat. Consistent and good food but sometimes the quality of chicken lacks desirability. All round a good shop with a good set of lads working in it.

I really am disappointed with my food I had some chicken tonight was so dry can not even eat it never again 😫 😩

The funky chicken Meir appeared to be a rip off. place to order food from. This is the second time I’ve made ordered online and they’ve sent totally wrong order to my house. Today, I’ve ordered whole chicken, potato wedges and harsh brown and they’ve sent chicken wings and normal fries instead and charged me for whole chicken, etc. I even tried to ring them to complain and they denied this. How sad and disgraceful No integrity whatsoever ☹️😬

5 stars isn't enough for this place, if you don't believe then lick your lips and taste the pure goodness that they serve, 11 out of 10 stars. They don't play games when it comes to food. Come get some!

If you like peri chicken and pizzas this is the place for you. The leg piece is so juicy and succulent, and the spicy sauce (my personal favourite) adds great flavour to the chicken whilst not being to spicy, and the pizzas are fab, highly recommend

The food was delicious and more Ish. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. The place is so clean friendly staff so helpful. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and they all are amazing. This is my local go to takeaway place.

I just ordered and I go to eat my coleslaw dipped it with my chips to find a long black hair I have platinum blonde hair safe to say I won't be ordering again everything has been fine and great with there food but this has made me sick because I took bites of coleslaw before I saw it

Chicken didnt taste very good standards have dropped. They have a little boy answering phones taking orders (I'm guessing owners son) Was phoned twice after the order. First time was told he forgot what sauces I wanted. Then phoned again and asked if im collecting from meir or cobridge. When I got home with the food there were no sauces at all..

2 stars solely because the food wasn't to bad, plenty of flavour but maybe a little keen on the sauces. As for customer service nothing but a joke. Took 10mins just to place an order we paid by card the driver got here saying we had paid could hardly speak English his wife got out of the car trying to ring the boss, I asked to speak woth the boss but was not passed on to him through loudspeaker. Neither wear wearing a mask nor social distancing and iam a severe vulnerable person this went on for over 10mims the food was not exactly hot either and all for £32.50 quiet a dissatisfied. I rang back to put the obvious across to speak to q child though it seems and he just said sorry. I won't be ordering again and its a big thumbs down.
