When the suns out its always my go to pub. Great beer garden area and always a friendly atmosphere. Pre or post match days can be busy, but always a good feel and worth the extra wait

Brilliant local pub, welcoming atmosphere, cracking staff and plenty of events on. One of the last few proper British pubs with some character and originality! Good prices too.

Fantastic pub full of surprises with events around each and every corner from the front doors to the main bar and through to their function room highly recommended for everyone, especially if you are local drop in for a pint and celebrate with us!!

Awesome pub with the most friendliest staff & landlord. Excellent beer cracking pint of Guinness great prices.Highly recommend the Gardeners Retreat and definitely recommend having functions on as they cater for everyone from making cakes buffets dressing the room & providing entertainment.

An absolutely fantastic venue with an awesome atmosphere and great staff and MOST customers alike.Ed and the team do a great job of making everybody feel welcome and that they enjoy their time there and hopefully return again. Great venue , fantastic entertainment , lovely staff and good prices what more could you want.

Nipped in to have a crazy half as needed the toilet and ended up staying for an hour cracking atmosphere and staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back in when passing. Well worth a visit 👍

I go in for a couple of pints before every Stoke home game. Staff are very friendly and will have a chat. Even if the bar is very busy, you are never waiting long to be served.

Nice place for a party .Catering was very nice food was hot and well presented.Wine Spirits and beer well stocked and a good choice. Enjoyed the D.J. also karaoke 🎤 was soo much fun .When looking for a place for a party then I'd recommend you take a look .
