Horn and Trumpet in Stoke-on-Trent

Staff were very helpful and courteous and the manager on the day I visited was ever present and attentive. The pub was clean (no sticky tables). Food was okay - average pub grub. The prices on the menu seemed ridiculously expensive at first glance, but the meals were "two for one" so ended up being very reasonably priced with this offer.

Lovely, hard working staff. Nice calm atmosphere. Brilliant for families with children of all ages. Food was delicious and great value for money. Drinks can be expensive depending on what you have

We came for our first family meal in a long time and felt that the entire experience was one to remember. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Great quality food! We will definitely be coming back again.

We took the dog and had some food. Staff were great food was good and everything is buy one get one free

During half term I took my girls for a pizza making session. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast whilst the girls enjoyed making and eating their own pizzas.Kelsey and Arjun were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I've only visited a couple of times and the food has always been very nice! And the staff have been amazing!

Went with 3 friends as soon as you walk in there's a very friendly atmosphere the girl behind the bar acknowledged us straight away which was nice, ordered our food and drinks and then made our way to our table, didn't have to wait too long for our food which was hot and well presented, I had Chicken Tikka Curry which was very tasty chicken was moist and the sauce was creamy but lots of flavour, poppadom was crunchy and not greasy the Nan bread was lovely and soft. Another friend had Hunters chicken the chicken breast was huge and another had a mixed grill which she couldn't finish so goes to show what a good plateful you get, last of all was the burger which was succulent and tasty and it was soon polished off. Two had desserts one sticky toffee pudding and one apple pie which looked scrumptious devoured in a flash. Thouroughly enjoyed the food and the relaxing atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble for the young lady who served us and she was also working on the bar. Do like the 2 for 1 offers, will be visiting again very soon, gave 4 ladies a very relaxing and enjoyable catch up

Food was fine. It's a sports pub but was not too noisy. Service was fine.

We visited here a couple of years ago and didn’t enjoy it but decided to try again this evening (4th Feb) as a group of nine. The food was a lot nicer and good value. Some items were missing but were quickly sent out to us when we pointed out the mistake. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The staff were great, very helpful and checked to make sure we were happy with everything.We had a lovely evening 😊.

Fantastic food. No complaints from any in the group.The staff were friendly and festive.My only observation was that the carpets in the toilet area were dirty looking and looked like they needed replacing.Great afternoon with my family. Thank you.Merry Christmas 🌲

Food was kinda ok but it's just the little things that make the big difference. Why is the cucumber a sorry excuse of a slither ...just cut it normally. If it's in a packet...get a cucumber from the Aldi opposite for 40p.Why is the side portion of onion rings on a plate that is meant to be worth £17.45 half the side of the other one. If it's not great out of the packet, don't use it.Why is the 'salad' on a £14.55 burger plate a tiny bit of lettuce.No mixed grills or fish and chips available.Service was good and staff were nice and I know it's 2-4-1 so "you get what you pay for" rule....but the little things to push up the plate a little will make the difference on what otherwise could of been a nice visit.Contemplating other meal places in the future now....we wouldn't have done had the above just been that bit better.
